COTA KENNEL

We were married on April 01, 2004.  Since marrying we have been raising and breeding Shih Tzu's and we absolutely love it! This is year 6 for Cota Kennel and the Shih Tzu's keep getting better and better !!!!

Crystal K. Cota, V.A.

Crystal has 2 degrees from Indiana University, one in Business and one in Art.  She also has her Veterinary Assistance Degree. She works at the Kennel 24 hours a day and devotes all of her time to the puppies and the breedings of her Shih Tzu gang.  She has recently started a new business that is also home based.  It is "Cota Coral Frags Galore".  She will be selling Saltwater Coral Frags within the next few years and will have an established website soon. 

Scott Cota is a trained Automobile painter.  Prior to establishing Cota Kennel, he was a supervior at A.M. General in their paint department and a painter for UtiliMaster, Inc.  He presently is in the paint department at Carerra Designs.  He helped establish Cota Kennel out of his love for the Shih Tzu breed.  As owner and operator, he helps maintains everything at the kennel.  He assists with all the breedings and is there for most whelping periods.  He maintains all county regulations and special use permits. He's such a hard worker! He has recently started a new company called "Cota's Phun Phood", a Carnival Concession Business, which will be in operation for the Spring of 2010. 

We have a son named Alexander, who is 10 years old.  Alex is super althletic and busy.  He has already completed a training program in Karate and holds a blue belt.  He is active in extracurricular activities such as baseball, football, & basketball.   He loves dirt bikes, four wheelers, skateboarding, and roller blading.  Alexander is presently in Fourth grade.  He is on the AB Honor Roll and keeping his grades high.  He is a very big help at the kennel and other businesses after school.
